In this specialization, you’ll gain the tools you need to support older adults in regaining strength, stamina, and flexibility, promoting health and independence. Participants will explore the physiological and psychological changes associated with aging and learn advanced fitness assessments tailored to older adults’ needs.
The program covers designing exercise routines to reduce fall risks and combat aging’s physical effects while understanding the unique limitations and obstacles faced by this demographic. With a self-paced online format, you can conveniently launch a new career from home in just 2-4 weeks, tapping into the growing market of over 54 million adults aged 65 and older.
There are no prerequisites for this course. However, it is recommended that candidates have a personal trainer certification or a wellness specialization.

After completing the course, you will take a timed online proctored exam through zoom application consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam must be completed within 90 minutes. To pass the exam, you must achieve a minimum score of 70%; if you do not, you have up to three attempts to reach this requirement. Each attempt costs 50 euro.
