NASM Retest Fee

The NASM Retest Fee grants candidates a new opportunity to take their certification exam after losing initial eligibility.
This option applies to individuals who have:
- Failed the NASM exam three times, or
- Exceeded the two-year eligibility period without successfully completing the exam, and whose exam access has expired.
By purchasing the NASM Retest Fee, candidates regain exam access for one additional year, during which they are allowed up to three (3) new exam attempts.
How long will I have to complete the courses?
You will have 365 days to take your final exam for the Virtual Coaching Specialization from the date of purchase. You will have 5 years of access to the Business Blueprint content and exam from the date of purchase.
Do I have to renew these qualifications?
The Virtual Coaching Specialization and Business Blueprint are not certifications, which means they do not need to be renewed.
How many Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are the courses worth?
The Virtual Coaching Specialization is worth 1.5 NASM CEUs and Business Blueprint is worth 1.0 CEUs.
How are the final exams administered?
The Virtual Coaching Specialization has a final exam that is administered online within your student portal. Business Blueprint can be found within the course content.
What if I do not pass the NASM-VCS final exam?
You will have 3 attempts to pass the final exam for the Virtual Coaching Specialization.
